The meeting of the Sister City Community Committee commenced at 4.33pm.

On the Motion of Councillors R Kendall and K Pascoe That the Committee view and accept the artwork supplied for the Sister City Walkway Public Art Project and ask the artist to provide a brief interpretation to be displayed with each artwork. |

· A Sister City information page on Councils website – (Council does currently have one).
o Currently only has Monique Price as the contact, but maybe the Committee members names could also be added.
o Could add photographs and details of previous visits
· Correspondence in the Daily Advertiser - Council news
· Can utilise the image from the bags
o Welcome to Wagga entrances
o Promotional material such as badges and stubby holders
· Could we sell the promotional bags
· Regular cultural exchange – eg. Artist in residence
· Involving schools

· Tours for Wagga people travelling to the Sister Cities

QUESTIONS WITH NOTICE/GENERAL BUSINESS
GB-1 The Mayor, Councillor Greg Conkey noted that today’s meeting is the same date as flying officer Robert Bruce Mieklejohn lost his life when the aircraft he was flying was shot down on the night of 21/22 June 1943 in Belgium. He has written to the village and the Australian Ambassador.
GB-2 Ali Tanner requested a further explanation on the Confidentiality agreement and Media Policy that was given to the Committee at the last meeting in the Induction. This is in reference to the comments made in the Daily Advertiser regarding the Sister City Committee.
GB-3 Robyn McPherson asked if any outgoing correspondence could include the Sister City logo that has been created.
GB-4 Councillor Kerry Pascoe asked we could look at another friendship City – Tieling China.
