The meeting of the Floodplain Risk Management Advisory Committee commenced at 8:30am.

Declarations Of Interest
Mr T Kurylowicz declared a general interest that he is a resident of North Wagga, however as a community representative he is representing the whole community.
Mr T Kurylowicz declared a Pecuniary Interest in RP-1 Project Update 2023 and RP-3 Feasibility Study for flood mitigation options for North Wagga and surrounding floodplain areas presentation, specific to North Wagga options of potential house raising and/or purchase, as he lives in the affected area.

On the Motion of Councillor R Kendall and P Murray That the Floodplain Risk Management Advisory Committee recommend that Council: a implement an annual budget line item for specific levee maintenance projects to the value of $50,000 pa b make a submission to the NSW Reconstruction Authority for funding of immediate and ongoing maintenance of flood prevention infrastructure c prepare a motion to the next NSW Local Government and Australian Local Government Conferences asking both State and Federal Governments to provide funding for the ongoing maintenance of flood prevention infrastructure CARRIED |
