Officer Recommendation

That the Traffic Committee approve the traffic control devices installed on the new  intersection constructed at Elizabeth Avenue and Lacebark Drive, Forest Hill as per Lance Ryan Consulting Engineers Drawing No. 20W020-C13 Revision 4 dated 23-08-2021.

That the Local Traffic Committee endorse the proposal to install signs and road markings on Mortimer Place and Chaston Street, as detailed on Council Plan Registration Number C2164 Sheet Number 003 Issue 4 dated 12 July 2023.

That Council endorse the proposal to install signs and road markings on Mortimer Place and Chaston Street, as detailed on Council Plan Registration Number C2164 Sheet Number 003 Issue 5 dated 20 July 2023.

RP-3          NO PARKING - Turning Bays - Morris Crescent & Coppabella Drive

 

Officer Recommendation

That the Local Traffic Committee install NO PARKING signs on either side of the concrete truck turn-around bays at 29 Morris Crescent and 81 Coppabella Drive Gobbagombalin.

 

Committee Recommendation

The committee, on the advice of TfNSW, recommended that Council consider implementing an Order/By Law, similar to those which operate in council reserves and parks which would be more practical to enforce.

RP-4          NEW ROUNDABOUT AT INTERSECTION OF HOLBROOK ROAD, DUNN'S AND LLOYD ROADS

 

Officer Recommendation

That Traffic Committee endorse the installation of a roundabout and associated regulatory signs and road markings at the intersection of Holbrook Road, Dunn’s Road and Lloyd Road, as per the attached plan diagrams and council resolution 23/017 of 30 January 2023.

 

Committee Recommendation

That Council approve the installation of a roundabout and associated regulatory signs and road markings at the intersection of Holbrook Road, Dunn’s Road and Lloyd Road, as per the attached plan diagrams and council resolution 23/017 of 30 January 2023.

TfNSW will undertake a precinct wide, speed zone review, taking into account all roads approaching the proposed roundabout and surrounding suburbs.

QUESTIONS WITH NOTICE

 

QWN-1 – Councillor D Hayes requested a review of Peter Street carparking for additional mobility parking to include ramps on request of the access reference group.

 

Traffic officers will conduct an audit of mobility access parking spaces and crossing points in Peter Street and identify the number of NDIS/Disability service providers now operating in the street.
