The meeting of the Floodplain Risk Management Advisory Committee commenced at 8.30am.

Tim Kurylowicz asked if staff can confirm that were the levee to be upgraded, that these floodgates and pipes would likely remain in place (ie that we aren’t repairing assets that might be replaced in the near future?)
Tim Kurylowicz requested staff to provide an update on the additional modelling that was going to be placed on the WWCC website (see my notes below):
· WWCC has internal tool that can model how data from BOM might flood Wagga streets in real time. Could be available on our website but WWCC wary to provide due to risk of errors in the data (e.g. floor heights) that could give inaccurate advice.
· Are staff are working to provide additional modelling to WWCC website within the coming weeks.
Barry Griffiths NSW SES is moving and has advised the Committee that Shane Hargraves will replace him on the Floodplain Risk Management Advisory Committee.
The Floodplain Risk Management Advisory Committee rose at 11.02am.
