The meeting of the Floodplain Risk Management Advisory Committee commenced at 8.31am.

Acknowledgement Of Country

Wagga Wagga City Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Wiradjuri people, and pays respect to Elders past, present and future and extends our respect to all First Nations Peoples in Wagga Wagga.

QUESTIONS WITH NOTICE

 

QWN-1 - FLOOD MODELLING PROJECT

Steve Manwaring from Department Planning, Industry & Environment asked a question about a flood modelling project. Has this been put out for tender?

 

There is grant funding for an Early Warning System to be developed in conjunction with SES and BOM. This will allow the SES to provide clear and relevant information to villages and residents upstream of the Wagga Wagga gauge.

 

QWN-2 - NORTH WAGGA UPDATE

Tim Kurylowicz requested a North Wagga update report be provided at the next FRMAC Meeting.

 

QWN-3 - INCARNIE CRESCENT PIPELINE AND RE-DESIGN

Councillor Jenny McKinnon requested an update on the Incarnie Crescent Pipeline and re-design.
